# ShakingHead FAQ

## What is the shaking head meme?

It is a short close-up loop: a pet or person squeezes its eyes shut in a smug grin and slowly shakes its head side to side, then snaps its eyes wide open into an innocent stare, often with the tongue tip out. People post it with a caption joke.

## Where did the shaking head trend come from?

AI-animated calf clips with the head shake appeared in August 2026. In October 2026 a calf version with a school caption took off on TikTok, cat and dog versions followed within days, and people started making it from their own photos.

## Can I use a photo of my dog, cat or another pet?

Yes. Choose Pet mode and upload one clear photo of one animal facing the camera with both eyes visible. Close-ups with even light work best; fur covering the eyes makes the stare harder to read.

## Can I make it with a selfie?

Yes. Choose Selfie mode and upload a front-facing photo of yourself or a consenting adult. Photos of minors, celebrities and public figures are not allowed.

## How long is the video and what format is it?

Every video is a 15-second vertical 9:16 MP4 at 480p or 720p, with an original instrumental beat and no watermark.

## Does it have the TikTok sound?

No. The video comes with an original AI instrumental beat. If you want the sound from a trending post, add it in TikTok or Reels when you publish and turn the video audio down.

## Is there a free trial?

No. Sign-in and a credit pack are required. The $9 pack covers two 480p videos and cannot cover one 720p video.

## What is the difference between 480p and 720p?

480p is the default and costs 420 credits. 720p is sharper and costs 945 credits. Both are 15 seconds, 9:16 and watermark-free.

## What happens if generation fails?

When a task is confirmed as failed, its charged credits are returned after refund processing. Contact support if the balance does not update.

## Can I use a friend’s or a celebrity’s photo?

A friend is allowed only when they are an adult and have agreed. Photos of celebrities, public figures and minors are not allowed.
